Employee Relations Business Partner
- Recruited to direct Employee Relations (ER) for assigned business unit
- Partner with senior leaders, HR and other key stakeholders to develop business initiatives, foster employee engagement, and mobilize talent
- Collaborate with people leaders and HR teams to develop ER strategy and sustain positive ER best practices for assigned business unit
- Assisted in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Analyze metrics and data to identify opportunities to mitigate gaps in workplace and enhance employee experience
- Mentor junior staff members, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in their roles.
- Manage complex and sensitive ER investigations related to discrimination, retaliation and bullying and harassment ensuring that 100% of workplace disputes are addressed
- Draft written reports to support investigation outcomes and make recommendations on suitable course of action
- Spearheaded design and implementation of US mediation process to address workplace conflict which has lead to 15% reduction in ER investigations
- Played crucial role in redesign of Performance management process to include developing exit strategy for poor performers
- Develop and present trainings, including management and leadership development
- Promote inclusive workforce and work to ensure that all employees are treated fairly
- Work to ensure that AstraZeneca is great place to work by addressing all employee concerns in prompt and timely manner
