
Job Description:
Transports include escorting youth in and outside the State of Alaska.
Ground Transportation to and from appointments, family visits, airport and the OCS offices directly into residential or foster placements.
Agents travel by air, train, ground vehicle, and water depending on the nature of the travel request and destinations and departure points.
Duties include:
Agents will assist "At Risk Youth" in custody to and from placement directives via air, ground, water travel.
Providing a safe and secure escort of the youth by means of in-person supervised travel to and from predetermined locations requested by OCS.
Agents may provide meals, clothing, nd luggage prior to travel ensuring their belongings arrive with them at the destination points.
Agents maintain behaviors of the youth during travel ensuring both the youth and others are safe through the duration of that travel.
Sitting Service Specialist:
Sitting Required of "At Risk Youth"
Sitting Specialist will maintain behaviors of youth in a secured environment by request of OCS.
These duties include:
Providing a 24 hour sitting service in a secure environment for the "At Risk Youth" in placement provided by OCS.
While in placement JACE will sit with the youth until OCS requests a change of placement.
Providing meals, laundry services, medications required by physicians and attending any appointments required during our assignment with that youth
Answer phones, calling voters, faxing/ emailing applications,Assisting voters with applications and paperwork, data entry, kept inventory of supplies , perparing and mailing ballots.
Remove and lay sod, lay out control, and pullout and reset headstones at the Fort Richardson Cemetery.
