One of the longest tenured Auxiliary Operators at current place of employment, having been hired as a Utility Operator in April of 2010, then being promoted to the position of Auxiliary Operator in September of 2013 after obtaining the required license of Fireman Second Class, issued by the state of Massachusetts, along with several hoisting licenses. - Test water and condensate to check levels of various components, such as pH, conductivity, phosphate, iron, silica, chlorine, and oxygen scavengers from various extraction points in plant's steam cycle to ensure all levels fall within plant designated parameters
- Ensure that various screw, belt, and drag conveyors in ash handling and conditioning system are operating properly
- Operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment to assist in ash handling and metal recovery process. This includes front end loaders, skid steers, and forklifts. Also operate large overhead crane to feed boilers required fuel (MSW)

- Assisted with many special plant projects, including but not limited to, full change outs of baghouse bags, semi-annual washing of air-cooled condenser unit, and repaving of ash recovery room floor
- Trained to high degree of proficiency on proper scaffold assembly, and was one of plant's designated scaffold builders whenever needed, including during boiler outages or for any other projects within plant
- Always expected to be available in event of boiler outage to assist in swift and safe completion of said outage
