Honors And Awards

Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Department of the Navy, 2002 to 2006, Professional achievement as shift supervisor and aviation structural mechanic for Electronic Attack Squadron 132 from March 2002 to October 2006. Through unsurpassed leadership and superior management of his personnel and resources, he led the airframe work center through 6 aircraft transfer and acceptance inspections and simultaneously rebased 3 364-day inspections, enabling the squadron to meet a short notice deployment order to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Additionally, while supervising the rescue chase detachment to Hickam AFB, Hawaii, his unparalleled technical expertise proved critical to the timely repair of a nose landing gear malfunction on Scorpion 500, efforts which facilitated an on time squadron return from our 2006 forward deployed expeditionary deployment. His managerial ability, personal initiative, and unswerving devotion to duty reflected credit upon him and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval service.
