My job as a laborer was to help clean up the painting pumps the painters used and help with the pipes and beams with the pipes and beams able to roll out we would have to make would style block so that the forklift and grab them , we would use a cut off 2/4 and make an angle so that it would have something to grab on to instead of rolling around while on the forklift as we also worked with frames I would measure the corners to make a v shaped end so that the frame would have something to grab onto and not fall on the ground prior to this in high school I was in a wood shop class where I learned to use the cutting tools and we made a frame for a home although that has been a while I’m sure I will catch it back up as I am a fast learner I know how to measure well and have light experience working with blue prints
