While opening my own business and dealing with multiple vendors I have had many occasions in which I worked directly with the manufacturers to correct defects and engineering design problems.

A couple of examples would be:

Country Clipper - They had a poor parking brake design that would unlock it's self and I had received multiple complaints from my customers. I reviewed the problem and was able to fabricate a solution. Upon conferring with Clipper they ultimately implemented my resolution into the whole line of mowers.

Bad Boy Mowers - They had an issue with the self raising actuator mounts on several of their product lines. Again after receiving multiple complaints from my customers I was able to fabricate a solution and as a result Bad Boy has now implemented that in to their manufacturing processes for multiple product lines as well. I have also attended several OEP business classes with Bob Clements.
