I am currently a Junior at LSU and am in the Pre-Veterinary program to apply to LSU Veterinary School this fall. I have been a Louisiana resident since birth, living in River Ridge until college. I have four cats at home and have taken care of them (giving food and water, scooping litter, looking for signs of illness and distress, and providing love and care for each cat. I am currently working at Abadie Veterinary Hospital as Kennel Assistant, where I perform tasks such as walking dogs, feeding and providing dogs and cats water, cleaning cages and kennels, providing dogs and cats different types of medicine, such as oral or topical. I am also involved in a couple of clubs at LSU that provide service opportunities working with animals such as cats, dogs, horses, and rabbits. I continue to broaden my experiences working with and caring for a variety of animals.

- Attended meetings throughout each semester since I have been in club. Meetings would provide information on upcoming volunteering opportunities and membership requirements.
- Attend and participated in various volunteer opportunities. One of which is Cat Haven, where I cleaned cat rooms and cages, sprayed and hosed down items in cat room with cleaner. I gave cats love and affection including chin-scratching, kissing, and petting.
- At Companion Animal Alliance, an animal shelter near LSU campus, I walked dogs out into the play area outside, picked up poop with gloves and bag. I provided love and affection for the dogs, giving pets and scratches. I also gave the cats affection, spent quality time with them to help them socialize, and I would also write a note about the cat's personality on their cage cards for any potential adoptions.
- At Precious Souls Sanctuary, a sanctuary for old and disabled dogs, I helped the sole owner of the sanctuary with any task she needed, such as walking dogs and other odd jobs such as painting crosses as tombstones for dogs who have passed away.

Spending time with family, friends, and pets. Also, I love to ride bikes and listen to music.
