Successfully completed year 12 at Newhaven College (Phillip Island). Enlisted into the Royal Australian Air Force at age 19 as an Aircraft Life Support Fitter. After two years in RAAF Base Tindal working at 75 Squadron ALS I discharged and relocated to Newcastle. Since relocating, I have worked in various roles for Boeing Defence Australia including Aircraft Life Support Tradesperson, promoting to a Trade Supervisor within my first year at BDA and as Senior Technical Officer for Aircraft Life Support and Armament with experience on multiple different programs and associated aircraft.
Eager to get back on the tools and combine my Life Support and Armament backgrounds, I made an exciting career change in becoming an Ejection Seat Technician for Martin-Baker, the world leader in the design and manufacture of ejection and crashworthy seats.

I was given the tasks of being the financial support of our China business, which included several trips to China and setting up training systems and a workflow that would be consistent with the USA operations.
