Wind turbine: Using wood and 3D-model propellers made from Solid works. Built a wind turbine, with both the blades and the tower, in a way that maximizes energy capture and power production. One of the main goals in my team was to create a lightweight yet stiff tower that could support a certain amount of loads. The tower's weight was limited to a maximum of 300 grams, with a target stiffness of 15 N/mm and a height of 17 inches. The turbine's objective was to produce more than 2 watts of power.
Coded controlled robot :The device is constructed using metal components and is designed to locate beacons. As it's controlled by a circuit board and coding achieved the fastest time (15.3s) My teams robot was a little overweight at 2.28kg.In this project, our goal was to build a robot that could perform a compact robot that could navigate an arena, identify green and red beacons by color-coded flash frequencies, and perform specific tasks. By integrating mechanical design, electronic circuit board, and RobotC programming, we tackled this challenge of building a self-functional robot from scratch. I designed the robot as I used scrap metal and left over components to build the arm for the robot .
