As a pharmacy technician at one of West Virginia's biggest hospitals, gained more knowledge about medications while working alongside the pharmacists. Responsibilities included stocking and dating medications in pyxis machines in each unit of the hospital and removing outdated medications. Delivered specific patient medications to the nurses. As an IV technician, compounded hazardous and nonhazardous drugs.

• Full-service emergency department, comprehensive inpatient care, and laboratory testing.
• Served as a clinical assistant, caring for patients that were admitted from the ER. Performed vitals, assisted patients with personal needs, did blood glucose tests, performed EKG's, drew blood, monitored patient telemetry, and prepared admitted patients' meals. Collected outpatient blood work. Assisted in the emergency room, escorted patients to their rooms, administered IVs and EKG's, and performed laboratory testing.

• Rehabilitation
• Observed patients' progress after knee replacements, shoulder replacements, and ACL tears. Helped to enhance the physical capabilities of mature adults. Learned about progression and rehab timelines for certain injuries. Learned about STEM and ultrasound machines.

• Tennis Academy
• Improved students' skill levels by teaching fundamentals and footwork for tennis success.
