I am a dedicated artist who enjoys helping others discover their own creativity. With an objective eye, I problem-solve and refine my work. This skill generalizes to guiding others through this process as well. I thoroughly enjoy diving headfirst into a new project, from learning and developing the idea to putting it out there for everyone to enjoy. In turn, those creations and discoveries, turn into ideas for classes. I am clever, warm, and funny which is not only an asset to my artwork, but to making those around me comfortable enough to engage in artwork, whether it's mine or their own.
I am the sole owner and operator of a small business I created from scratch. I offer guided paint events during the weekends and afterschool programs, beginning drawing and painting sessions, and other various art classes for both children and adults.
I create and teach new art curricula by contract, paint commissions or murals, or host private parties.
I manage every aspect of the business: curriculum development, website creation, maintenance, and management. Class promotion/marketing, inventory, and registration management.
Coordinated artists to lead classes for the wider community, negotiated contracts, promoted offerings, and managed class registration process.
Lead museum tours for classrooms and youth groups.
Developed, wrote grant for funding and managed several programs auch as CAM's community days, Art Cart in the Park, Storm Drain Mural projects, and High School Art CLub.
Formed partnerships with local businesses and non-profit organizations to enhance programming.
Coordinated and supervised volunteers for programming and outreach events.
