My name is Josue De Los Santos Tepi, and I have experience in the restaurant industry, having worked as a busser at Tin Building by Jean-Georges for 1 year. In this role, I was responsible for various essential tasks to ensure a quality customer experience. My responsibilities included preparing and serving different types of coffee, delivering food to tables when there was no food runner, and briefly explaining the food to customers. I also delivered drinks from the bar to tables and, when welcoming new customers, I was responsible for asking their water preferences and setting up the system to ensure their glasses were kept full throughout the meal.
I was also responsible for cleaning and trimming tables for new customers, polishing glasses and utensils, and keeping them organized in their proper place. My focus was always on maintaining constant and effective communication with my colleagues to ensure an efficient and enjoyable workday.
In addition to my restaurant experience, l've participated in private events of varying sizes, from groups of 20 to 30 people to an ESPN event with 300 attendees. These experiences have allowed me to quickly adapt to different environments and work effectively under pressure, skills we consider essential for providing exceptional service in any situation.
