Hi, I'm Josue Martinez, I am 20 years old and current student at CSUN. I was a student athlete back in high school playing soccer, football, and running track. Fell in love with exercise. After a small injury in my ankle, went to physical therapy and enjoyed the atmosphere and saw the enjoyment that the people had there. After graduating from high school, I found a job as kitchen help at a Panda Express and worked there for almost 2 years but kept working out usually in the gym, dancing, or other sports. In that time frame, I volunteered for a couple months at a physical therapy clinic in Glendale. Got a feel for what the environment was and enjoyed myself much more than my job at the time. I was also going to school and decided that I was going to pursue Kinesiology. Transferred from Pasadena City College to California State University Northridge, where I am currently enrolled and entering my fourth year.
I've worked many side jobs since leaving Panda Express such as photography, videography, landscaping, and basically any job that I was capable of doing and was fairly successful. I also work as a caregiver for my great grandma after she got sick and am currently taking care of her.
I am now looking for job experience in the field that I fell in love with.I have a good understanding of human movement as well as what parts the anatomy is being affected or is causing movements. I am extremely hardworking, punctual, and focused even when it is something that I don't particularly enjoy. I am also willing to move my schedule around to accommodate the work schedules.
