Formal Jewish Education

• Developed and taught a 7th grade Hebrew school curriculum with a focus on post-b'nei mitzvah engagement and a personal understanding of the relevance of Jewish practice. Obtained over a 90% retention from Hebrew school to Chai School program.
• Taught four elective classes yearly to 8th - 9th graders in a Chai School program, including cooking, current events, Jewish literature, and social action.
• Worked with 10th grade Confirmation class and teachers on developing musical repertoire in the curriculum.

Informal Jewish Education

• Directed all youth activities in grades K through 12 outside of the Religious School.
• Advised the 9th-12th grade youth board on the planning of monthly events; planned and led programming every six weeks for teens in grades 6-8; and quarterly for grades 4-5 and K-3. Hired and supervised advisors, when applicable. Provided supervision and support at most events.
• Responsibilities included risk management, budget and expense tracking, communicating calendar and events to the proper channels, and participation in all temple functions as a senior staff member.
