I worked as an RN from 1992 until 2010. I then took some time off to be home with my children. In February 2018 I decided to go back to work and completed the process to have my license renewed. That was a process of completing at least 70 hours of CEU’s as required by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. In 2022 I moved to Tennessee and obtained my TN R N license. I am interested any open position. I feel that my experience has helped to develop skills necessary to learn more aspects of any current advertised position. My strong suits include a teachable attitude, a quick learner, I pay attention to detail, and my organizational skills, I can easily develop a positive relationship with my peers, my patients and their families. My patients and their families seem to develop confidence in my abilities to care for their needs. I am always ready to be an advocate for my patients My mood is generally happy and cheerful and on days when my patience is pushed to the limits I have learned coping skills to de escalate. When I encounter situations that I am not sure of, I am not reluctant to ask questions or ask for help I have worked in the healthcare industry for 30+ years and I feel as though my clinical assessment skills are above average. I also feel that my ability to work with other professionals have a good foundation. I am willing and ready to build on that foundation and would love to have the opportunity to prove myself to your company.
