Dedicated student leader and researcher focused on school sustainability, scientific inquiry, and creative communication. Led a 45-member environmental club that diverted 1,200+ pounds of cafeteria food waste through a composting program while proposing and supporting the successful transition to sustainable cutlery in the school cafeteria by collaborating with administration to promote environmentally responsible practices, earning state recognition and $2,500 in grant funding. Conducted C. elegans gene regulation research and produced visual content for conservation and children’s education projects.
