Special Projects

2023  Stobart Foundation Artistic Research Grant  

  • This grant funded a trip to Tonga during the Humpback Whale birthing season in Fall 2023 to swim with, study, photograph, and paint Humpback Whales. A collection of works are being curated for a future multisensory, interactive, and educational museum exhibition focused on whale conservation.


2022 & 2021  Artist Residency at Mystic Seaport Museum 

  • Awarded a grant from the Center for American Marine Art that funded a summer long residency at the Mystic Seaport Museum. During the residency, the artist would live on an historic vessel docked at the seaport, create work in a public studio setting, curate a temporary exhibit of works, and present an educational symposium.


2020  Public Mural Installation, Panama City Center for the Arts

  • Awarded a grant to create a public mural in downtown Panama City, FL to help revitalize the area following the destruction of Hurricane Michael and attract more visitors to the city.


2020: Children's Hospital Mural Series

  • Commissioned by The Studer Family Children's Hospital in Pensacola, FL, to co-create with artist Ashton Howard a series of sea-life themed murals to fill 5 stories of hallways and rooms.


2020 & 2019: Coastal Conservation Association Featured Artist

  • Commissioned by The Coastal Conservation Association to create original artwork for promotional products and fundraising efforts for their annual gala.


2018: Conservation Art Exhibit

  • Coordinated and Curated an art exhibit hosted by The Sheraton Resort in PCB, FL to benefit GulfWorld Marine Institute conservation efforts and the Coastal Conservation Association.
