He went into the communication field after leading his highschool’s news team for two years, where he learned much of the organizational communication process along with experience in media creation and management. Coming to Florida to attend USF, Joziah became closely connected to Tampa’s extensive military community through his veteran father, later becoming an ambassador for the University of South Florida’s Office of Veteran Success.
