My name is Jr. Hill, and I have a broad range of interests and hobbies. For starters, a hobby of mine is the current research I am conducting at Dutchess Community College in physics. The research revolves around the concept of the principle of least action, a fundamental principle in the physics realm that demonstrates the path nature takes to move from one point to another in the shortest amount of time while also minimizing the amount of energy expelled. Closely related to physics is my interest in and passion for learning mathematics. As I am currently a calculus student, it is amazing to learn about advanced mathematical principles and theories. In my free time, I tend to read about previous mathematicians and physicists to gain an understanding of how they created and theorized the ideas of calculus. Lastly, one of my other hobbies is teaching myself how to code using coding languages like Python, HTML, CSS, and sometimes Java. In fact, I started to become so interested that I started a mini-project based on a tutorial on YouTube. The project involves constructing a wireless RC car that can be controlled through Python code. Though it is a work in progress, so far through this project I have learned about electrical wiring, resistors, and how coding can be combined with real-life applications.
