Advanced Leader Course
ALC is the second course to success in the Noncommissioned Officer Education System. The purpose of ALC is to develop Noncommissioned Officers to be tactically and technically proficient at skill level three; and to train, lead, and fight at the section level. The course focuses on leadership assessment and development. The Fort Sill Noncommissioned Officer Academy develops agile, adaptive, and resilient leaders capable of meeting the challenges of unified land operations in an era of persistent conflict by educating non commissioned officers in leadership and war fighting, as well as individual and team training.
Qualifies soldiers to conduct airmobile and air assault helicopter operations, including aircraft orientation; helicopter insertion; pathfinder operations; sling load operations; rappelling from buildings, cliffs and helicopters; and fast-rope techniques
The Sling Load Inspector Certification Course (SLICC) is a five-day course conducted by the Sling Load MTT under the USAQMS. The mission of the course is to train E-4's and above in basic sling load operations, and ultimately to certify personnel from all services as sling load inspectors. Students are trained in the following areas: types of helicopters and limitations, cargo hook reach pendants, 10K and 25K sling sets, basic hardware and expendables, cargo carrying devices, preparation and set up of a
PZ/LZ, safety equipment, hook-up team and signalman duties & responsibilities, and the proper rigging and inspection of loads.
The Joint Interoperability & Data Link Training Center(JID-TC) teaches students to plan, establish, and manage the data link interfaces that connect and share a common picture within a Joint Task Force (JTF) and/or functional component HQs with multinational forces and other organizations. JID-TC courses also introduce the student to the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) on advances in networked warfare and emergent capabilities to achieve interdependence and operational effectiveness. The training includes, but is not limited to, Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) prerequisite knowledge and skills for integration and interoperability of Tactical Data Links (TDL) within the Multi-TDL Network (MTN) to contribute to the Common Tactical Picture (CTP) and planning and management of tactical data through gateways or extended interfaces to support the Joint Data Network (JDN). The JID-TC provides operational support to
CCMDs, services, Defense Agencies, and coalition partners on the employment, planning, and management of tactical data links

Joint Firepower Course (JFC)
JFC is a nine-day course focused on integrating joint fires at the tactical level. JFC provides doctrinal concepts and tenets used to integrate air-and surface-delivered fires. It teaches planning, coordinating, and executing joint fires in support of the ground commander's scheme of maneuver.
