Led 3-member Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams responsible for eliminating explosive munitions and devices; managed daily response taskings, logistics, and coordination with local/federal agencies during emergency response incidents.

  • Completed specialized improvised explosive device (IED) construction and defeat training to include advanced electronic circuit design and microcontroller programming - consistently staying ahead of emerging trends in ordnance and explosive device development.
  • Directly delivered critical counter improvised explosive device (C-IED) support to the United States Secret Service and Department of State; Ensuring the safety of high-profile individuals at home and abroad including the US President, Vice President, and foreign dignitaries.
  • Accomplished multiple robotics maintenance and repair courses with Remotec F6A, AFMSR, Robo-Team MTGR, and L3Harris T7 robots. Ensured via field testing that the platforms could withstand the rigors of EOD operations and training before being fielded.
  • Developed advanced tactics, techniques, and procedures for the recovery of nuclear weapons involved in accidents and incidents in collaboration with the Department of Energy Accident Response Group, various national labs, the FBI, and sister military services.
  • Managed maintenance, safety, and lifecycle of $5.8M worth of installation emergency response and deployment sustainment equipment while meticulously documenting inventory and readiness via self-developed MS spreadsheet.
  • Orchestrated monthly quality assurance assessments for 16 operational EOD evaluations and 10 functional mission areas; authored and delivered comprehensive monthly and annual FY schedules to ensure peak technical performance.
  • Organized the workcenter's training program and trained 22 EOD technicians on 8 different core mission sets including aerospace systems, C-IED, counter WMD, nuclear weapon response, unexploded ordnance recovery, bombing range clearance, defense support to civil authorities, and irregular warfare tactics and procedures.
