Responsible for managing the daily activities/schedule of the Get R.E.A.L (Ready for Education And Learning) program. Manage 7 full-time staff and 120 + interns placed throughout Broward County. This is a workforce development program to create job ready candidates from young adults (17-24) who need job skills, post secondary education,and life skills to become productive members of the Broward County workforce.
Manages the participant case record, and ensures that all necessary documentation is properly maintained using CareerSource Broward software and procedures.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal guidelines related to WIOA (Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act) programs as mandated by the federal government and ensures that federal reporting deadlines are met to avoid federal funding and fiscal finding
Recruitment of opportunity youth within Broward County.
Maintain member attendance and prepares payroll summary for staff and participants placed at worksites. Align opportunity youth with mentors related to chosen career pathway.

Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the Job Corps Scholars grant.
Monitor all program standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure procedures are kept up to date as changes occur.
Develop and implement an effective career coaching services program and ensure that each coach is assigned a caseload consistent with guidelines; take appropriate steps to ensure that case management occurs.
Evaluate and perform necessary budget tracking and procurement inquiries. Establish spread sheets for the purposes of organizing data and for budget tracking. Maintain budget and performance tracking tools for use by grant program staff.
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for staff regarding WIOA policies, procedures and compliance issues.
Complete quarterly narrative reports and manage $1.1 million budget .
Provide leadership to BrowardUP Financial Services Commission building financial models to leverage available assets, including community partners. Create options for students to access needed

Department of Labor funded grant of $3.1 million awarded to the college.
Complete project plans based on grant requirements to meet program objectives including enrollment, completion, budgeting, and outcome requirements.

Collaborate with financial, operational, and front-line staff using enterprise resource management system to deliver contract and grant services within budget parameters.
