- Take daily fluorides we take everyday making sure it doesnt go past the mcl & not below our low level.
- Weekly maintenance we do every week like taking the cl2 samples(4ppm) and fluoride samples (2ppm) at direct feed well sites & also iron(0.3ppm) and Manganese (0.05ppm) Test at the bigger water treatment plants, backwashing filters for preventative maintenance to break down any bigger formation inside
- Monthly Maintenance we do at well sites de webbing sites, Blowing down sites full site clean ups such as weed control wiping down vertical turbine motors and the pipes, getting SMUD and hrs on motors, sound wells get the standing water, pumping water, draw down & specific capacity(gpm divided by draw down)
- At storm drains check obs, dripper, oil level, bubblers, crane inspections trash racks inlets, flow through gates & site clean ups
- Annual Drain Sites we do such as greasing slide gates, zerk fittings, shafts and cleaning out wet pits sumping them down so our mechanics can do there pump inspection and sometimes getting vactors and vactoring stations if really bad with debris and sludge also we change all the motor oil on our vertical turbine pumps big or small
- Annual Storage Tank Cleaning and Reclaim cleaning we do every year.
- Annual Hydro pneumatic tank inspections.
- Assist With Bacti samples and coliform samples we do some on weekly, quarterly or bi-weekly basis.
- Trouble shooting issues on stand by such as leaks on sodium hypochlorite, hydrofluosilicic acid, & coagulants we use, problems could be but not all checks on our positive displacement pumps, bad injectors can do whole kop kits that consist of diaphragms,new checks for suction, degas,& discharge Bad foot valves not holding its prime, cracked 90’s clogged and or cracked diffusers or something as simple as a analyzer not reading correctly, we Calibrate as needed it’s always important we check that out first with our hand held hach kits.
- Maintaining our sites weekly and monthly to make sure they are tidy and neat and presentable , consumers look for first impression is always a must.
- Assist diesel mechanic when needed with all types of generator motor problems.
- Deal with different types of chemicals when out in the field such as sodium hypo chlorite, hydrofluosilicic acid, sodium fluoride, Potassium permanganate, polymer,Ferric Chloride, Sodium Bisulfite and other chemicals we have in the treatment plants.
- Cleaning sedimentation basins, sludge zones of them as well
- All types of repairs from leaks, flow meters, Air release valves, Air compressors, A/C units & belts, filters, sight glasses, Air Mack’s if we can repair it and do it we will, also in charge of preventative maintenance on all or hand held gas power equipment such as mowers,weed eaters, blowers hedgers, and chainsaws.
