Born in Colombia, Juan's journey led him from the vibrant streets of Queens, NY before finding his home in the picturesque Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, where he pursued his college education.
Breaking barriers as a first-generation student at Williams College, Juan discovered his passion for photography through a work-study assignment at the Multicultural Center, guided by Marcela Villada Peacock. This experience planted the seeds of his artistic journey, inspiring him to capture the beauty and essence of people at various on and off-campus events.
Having refined his skills over time, he specializes in providing photographic coverage for a diverse range of occasions, including events, receptions, group portraits, engagement photos, and breathtaking landscape photography.
In January 2017, Juan had the privilege of attending a day-long performance photography workshop led by the esteemed Rosalie O'Connor, a former professional dancer with the American Ballet Theatre for fifteen years.
