Block Mason

Leon Masonry
Riverside, CA
10.2024 - 01.2025

My roll in Leon Masonary would be to make sure the footings would be to the measurements given on blueprints and the type of rebar , I would tie 20 “ rebar and cut and bend rebar to required bends to match blueprints . Then prepared the rebar 3 inches apart from the soil so it would pass inspection and keep rebar 3 inches away from the face of wall so that the wall is lined up straight and keep rebar in the precise placement for when pouring and setting bricks on cement , I layed first course when pouring cement and watched the leves of the property change and fit the blocks were they should be placed so cement footing would not be showing .once finished doing the first course I would walk back and clean cement that would be noticed and remove so it’s presentable then when cement would dry place pallets of bricks next to the first course also I would perform any fixes on damaged bricks and misplaced rebar that moved when pouring cement while wearing proper safety gear . I have experience in compacting dirt ,waterproofing and backfilling using the bobcat and excavator.after all was completed I would walk threw with inspector to make sure everything was done as required .
