Growing up I would always see my family cook everyday , Sundays were always the day where everyone came together to cook, drink, and laugh while sharing our families deep culinary traditions. My father was a french trained chef, each day we would talk about the amazing flavors and recipes he would create. The fruit tarts were always our favorite and really remind me of home. My first job was working as a dishwasher at Gulfstream Newport Beach, after the chef saw my work ethic and drive he decided to give me a chance in the kitchen as a prep cook and I never looked back. I loved taking on the challenges each day and always wanted to learn new skills. I was able to work my way up to the saute station and become one of the youngest cooks in the kitchen. I was fortunate to find Bon Appetite Management company, and was eagar to prove myself to a new chef and started as a prep cook and was able to grow to a Kitchen Supervisor. As each year passes I look back at the recipes and techniques I have learned and know that there is still so much left to learn and I am so excited to continue using my drive, work ethic, and passion to continue my culinary journey.
