  • I coordinate requisitions, receipts, storage, accountability, and issuance of material used by production when producing remanufacture products.
  • I assist and work well with others in sharing technical guidance with coworkers, establish priorities for assigned tasks, participate in on-the-job training, inspect completed work, records, and reports for accuracy and compliance against directives from upper management towards achieving goals, apply processes, and output techniques.
  • I utilize the Logistics Management System to integrate the program financials of all assigned Work Breakdown Structure requirements.
  • While maintaining task-based logistic networks, such as the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Complex Assembly Manufacturing System (CAMS), and integrating the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Work Station Requirements (WSR) to support the scheduling of maintenance, repair, and overhaul of helicopters.
  • I use effective communication skills, techniques, and best practices to achieve established objectives of scope, quality, time, cost, and stakeholder satisfaction and cooperation.
  • With the coordination of the shop floor supervisor, we meet daily to ensure schedule requirements are met, accounted for, and record financials and consumption to the end item by using the following PC-related LMP transaction codes to request material required for MTF approximately one week prior to aircraft arrival in Flight Test to ensure it will be fully mission capable.
  • Along with my Capacity Planner, we resolve any material issues, such as late fallouts, late delivery of materials, variance in material quantities, etc. And expedite material to satisfy flight test material requirements.
  • I use LMP daily to monitor all WIP materials needed for order fulfillment for each end item.
  • During this time I also identify workload shortages based off information in the LMP and CAMS systems
  • I have the knowledge and skills to perform various duties to expedite parts, end items, supplies, and materials into or out of shops to support the mission in overhaul, repair, modification, check and test, and other related rework of aircraft, their structures, components, assets, parts, and equipment
  • I create transactions in the Logistics Modernization Program/ LMP Depot system of record, CAMS and potentially various computer databases such as, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, CAMS, MMETS, Fed Log, Create PSA calls
  • I prepare requisitions for reparable, parts and/or materials required to meet production shop work schedules, based on interpreting LMP system of record data, allowable stock levels, usage rate, and projected workload
  • I receive materials, parts, components, and assemblies ordered or to be re-worked
  • I examine items received to verify identity, quantity, and work order number, checks for discrepancies such as wrong, untagged, or damaged items
  • When documents are missing or the identity of the item is questionable, I assist in determining the identity using technical manuals, DMWR, and other specifications such as personal knowledge of the item
  • I assure that any previous processing has been completed by observing the general condition and appearance of the item and checking and routing documents for inspection sign off for each process
