• Ensures that all dining areas are properly set up and cleared before and after breakfast
and lunch meals, maintaining a clean and organized environment for all participants.
• Supervises the coordination of meal setup, preparation, and service, with special
attention to the nutritional and safety needs of young children.
• Oversees the cleanliness and proper handling of all serving utensils, kitchen tools, and
dining equipment.
• Conducts and/or ensures regular general cleaning and routine maintenance of the
kitchen and food service areas.
• Prepare and serve food to eligible children as required.
• Count accurately and distribute meals according to SFSP guidelines, ensuring eligible
participants/children receive required servings.
• Maintain accurate daily records of meal counts, participant attendance, and any other
relevant information (delivered, eaten, wasted, and turn-always).
• Supervise and train staff to ensure they understand and follow program rules and safety procedures
