I have worked in construction since 17 and have been motivated to keep working hard so I can be able to enough money to go back to college and major in a something construction related in hopes to open my own company .I am very eager and curious to learn and gain experience,skill,strength, etc from a job. One of my goals is to go to college. Another goal is to be athletic in the sports I play which include volleyball and handball,for now. I have worked for not only construction but a few different jobs and knowing spanish is for sure a plus! I was born in Harlem and raised in the The Bronx my whole life and Im Ecuadorian.

Job overview

As a construction worker one quote I like is the one that says "A jack of all trades is a master on none, but will always be better than a master of one".I've worked about 8 months with JMK painting moving compound,sheetrock,materials in general and equipment needed during the time which is the laborious part of the job. Also during my time there I also know where to put the sheet rock to build the wall but before that the frame is built. I was learning painting and plastering which happens in apartments that don't require sheetrock just renovations and touch ups and such and such.

  • Experience I worked in construction for most of my life.Ive worked for construction places in which some I remember the name like fahey construction,but others i don’t like this brick company I used to work for. As an electrician at MC Electrical which was a great place but I wanted to move on to something different. I have also worked for a wedding/party planner. In this job I am called in for when they need people to finish the wedding/venue, mostly manual labor. I have also been a exterminator going to peoples apartments so thats basically the most credible social work I have to done. My most recent job is a helper at JMK painting. There I put up sheetrock, carried lots of sheetrock, painted,done compound, screwed up framings etc.
