

Responsible for managing the daily operations of shipbuilding or repair, ensuring the safety, quality, timelines, and efficiency of the project. Their duties include supervising technical staff, coordinating the use of machinery, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with plans, and managing risks.
Safety and Health: Conduct 5-minute talks, identify hazards, correct unsafe acts, and comply with safety regulations.
Production Management: Supervise the assembly, welding, painting, and repair of vessels, ensuring that the work plan is followed and delivery times are met.
Quality Control: Verify that the work complies with the blueprints, technical specifications, and required quality standards.
Personnel Supervision: Lead, train, assign tasks, and evaluate the performance of production workers.
Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of the shipyard machinery and facilities.
Reports and Management: Report on project progress to management, manage the supply of materials, and resolve technical issues on site.
Evaluate blueprints or instruction necessary to complete the project while checking and maintaining JHA.
Supervise team of carpenter, insulators and welders.
Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed and that all PPE require was on site and in use.
Oversee compliance of OSHA regulation by crew members, plant equipment, tools, PPE, mobile equipment and containment areas.
Manage well site personal and all lease operator, completing records, ensuring certifications and maintaining personnel data when require.
Training new hire personal.
Evaluate blueprints or instruction necessary to complete the project while checking and maintaining JHA.

Record the entry and exit of goods in the inventory system, correctly label items, and keep the warehouse organized.
Follow strict shipyard safety protocols, manage hazardous materials (if applicable), and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure the flow of materials without interruptions, notifying about received orders or delays.
Pack, wrap, and secure materials for transport, often operating forklifts or other loading machinery.
Strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills, FAS and experience with financial systems, preferably one of the following: BAAN, Epicor, SAP)
