Juan Moreno

Killeen

Summary

I’ve gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher, primarily in upper elementary classrooms (2nd–5th grade), where I developed strong classroom management, communication, and leadership skills. I also volunteered in a bilingual 2nd-grade class, working with first-generation Latino/Hispanic American students an experience that deepened my commitment to educational equity and public service.

Currently, I’m an Army ROTC cadet attending the University of Michigan preparing to commission as a U.S. Army Officer, with plans to branch into the Engineer Corps. I’m driven by a passion for service, leadership, and making a long-term impact both in the military and through future work in public policy and advocacy.
