Summary
When I got into the oil and gas industry I had no idea of what electrical of automation was about. Slowly after time from paying close attention to my electrician and coworkers I knew what I was doing. After Seeing and hearing what programmers and automation was about I directed my career to automation. I started by installed and calibrating only Pts and then started installing radars, Nanos radios and gateways. I started paying attention to the programmers around me and saw how they played a major roll in the oil and gas industry. With time I started doing little jobs like editing IDEC HMI programs and some ROC programs, now I can troubleshoot multiple PLC controllers and fix the issue with minimal to no help. I started troubleshooting Rosemount PTs and radars, E&H PTs and radars. I will not leave a site without the problem fixed or me knowing I've done everything i could to fix the issue.
