While at MV Transportation Inc., I collaborated closely with the Assistant General Manager (AGM). In this role, I was responsible for scheduling preventive maintenance (PM) across various systems, including air conditioning, managing transmission replacement intervals, overseeing engine in-frame intervals, and conducting inspections on CNG tanks. Taking the initiative to lead maintenance operations not only enhanced my technical problem-solving skills but also empowered me to motivate and guide my team effectively.
By adopting a strategic approach, I successfully minimized road call failures through innovative solutions, such as retrofitting the cooling system. My involvement in special projects, including installing Zonar tablets and the readiness of new hydrogen buses for service, showcased my commitment to quality assurance and collaborative decision-making. These efforts improved team performance and operational efficiency, fostering a productive work environment. My focus on high productivity and task efficiency continually drives my approach to work.
I have cultivated specialized skills in operational troubleshooting, preventive maintenance strategies, and team leadership. My communication, problem-solving, and adaptability strengths have enabled me to support seamless operations and encourage effective teamwork. As a motivated individual, I am excited to apply my academic knowledge to real-world scenarios and am eager to learn and make meaningful contributions to any team.
Furthermore, as a shop steward, I actively engaged in contract negotiations concerning union grievances and successfully facilitated union bids twice a year. I look forward to bringing my collaborative mindset and strong work ethic to future opportunities where I can continue to contribute positively to the team and organization.
