I participated in a program during the summer of 2024 and 2025 during the program you go to different department within the city of Lubbock and learn from the employees and supervisors there what they do at the city, what they do from a day to day basis and how they keep the city functioning some examples of this are the city’s code enforcement department, solid waste department, and water utilities department. The program was 7 weeks with 7 different departments to learn from and gain experience in.
