As the manager I had 10 PCA's working under me in an independent living facility. We provided care for over 30 residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I managed all of the scheduling for both the Pcas as we as our residents . I attended daily meetings as well as meeting with family members. A lot of problem solving skills were used as being a manager.
As the wellness coordinator I checked in all incoming patients into the computer system. I walked them back to the Doctor for their adjustments. I would set up all new patients intakes from start to finish. Answering multiple phone lines. Keeping everything organized due to the high volume of patients. The Joint Chiropractic is a walk in clinic . There were days we would see and treat over a hundred people. I would take payments and start patients on their treatment plans per their care plans. I worked side by side with the Doctors.
As a dialysis techIan my job was to come in before our patients scheduled times and set up their machines and get our patients in on time . For each of my patients I took their pre , and during treatment and post vitals monitoring them every 30 minutes . Prior to running on their machines I cannulated my patients with 14 to 15 gage needles. At the end of their treatments I would remove their needles and prep them to go home . I followed all policies and procedures and infection control .
At the time I had started as a busser due to the restaurant needing more help . I picked this job up as an extra income . I was working Friday and saturdays . Then a waitress called in sick and then quit so they asked me to step in . I had no waitresses experience at the time but I did it anyways . I greeted my customers promptly at their tables . I showed off our bottles or wine and spirits . After taking their orders I would send the orders to the kitchen and when ready I would deliver their meals to their tables .
I started in the radiology department as a secretary. I would greet our patients at the check in window and sign them into our computer system . I would call their scheduled testing department and they would come take the patients back for their exams . I moved from being a secretary to becoming a scheduler for 8 radiology specialties . I would schedule patients through their doctors offices and verifying their health insurance . I worked my way up to secretary 2 position which oversaw the whole radiology front office as well as being the assistant for the head Interventional Radiologist. I did all of the scheduling for inpatient as well as out patient procedures.
