Juan Silva Cardenas

I have been a reliable flooring installer and house cleaner with a track record of excellence, demonstrated at Hugo Hernandez. At that job I improved my skills in installing various flooring materials and maintaining clean job sites.

I enjoy working with people and I like to help students at the high school level. I enjoy tutoring and would like to work as an aide with students of ESOL or ESE Students.

Known for my exceptional work ethic and organizational abilities, I am also a fluent Spanish speaker, ensuring clear communication with and to the students I am working with.

I was given the award of Best ESOL Senior Student in my senior year at Booker High School in 2024.

My teacher Ms. Piner often asked me to help other students who didn't know English and I liked doing that

kind of work. I had good writing skill and I also enjoyed practicing with my mentor Mr. Bobby for the ACT exams.

I was very excited to pass my ACT exam at the end of the year! My other mentor, Ms. Kari Noren-Hoshal always

used to ask me to help with new students because I understood a lot of English and I could translate easily. 

I was very proud to get this award!
