  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the Municipality’s 31 parks and playgrounds. This includes ordering new playground equipment and overseeing the installation. Overseeing the seeding and fertilization of the various sports complexes. Making sure that all park components are in good condition, such as fencing, irrigation, and sport courts and fields.
  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the municipal pool complex. This includes the hiring of all staff and ordering of equipment and chemicals.
  • Organizing the majority of the municipality’s public events. This includes the oversight of public safety involvement such as police and fire services. Example events include the Pennsauken Summer Kickoff/ Fireworks event, the Township senior citizen events, the Pennsauken Tree Lighting, Community cleanups, The Autism Awareness Expo, Haunted Hayride, Car and Bike Show, Pennsauken Fall festival which sees between 4 to 6 thousand people attend, and more.
  • Oversight of the Township’s youth sports programs.
  • Organization the youth summer program schedule with various summer camps.
