  • My job as Program Management entails commitment to providing consistent staff who can build a relationship with an Individual.
  • As a Program Manager I oversee the that all Individuals have a team of primary and secondary staff specifically trained in all ISP, BSP and Medical Administration and that in an event of a call off or an emergency I ensure coverage is attained, to the best of my ability. I am also in charge of overseeing doctors appointments for my individuals, whether that be I take them myself or make sure that there is a DSP who is trained properly to take them.
  • I am involved in all ISP meetings for individuals that are on my case load and make sure to relay all pertinent information to DSP's working with that particular client.
  • I am also responsible for the scheduling of any DSP working with an individual on my case load and I communicate schedule changes effectively and in a timely manner when needed. Correspondence is another important aspect of my job, this entails emails and phone calls to DSP's, other program managers, SSA's, and family members of clients.

  • Visit the homes of each individual assigned to caseload according to schedules created by Program Manager.
  • Complete Site Inspections and home visits, and turn in competed documents to the Program Manager.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to address ongoing concerns at home sites.
  • Address and report any immediate concerns regarding health and safety of clients as necessary.
  • Collect all Skill Development, Service Delivery and MAR documentation for individuals on caseload monthly, and turn into assigned Program Manager by the end of the 1st week of the following month.

  • Inform Program Manager of immediate and ongoing issues regarding direct support staff serving individuals on caseload.

  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation to conduct weekend audits and provide direct care supports for emergency coverage as scheduled.
  • Conduct and document on-site trainings for direct care staff on caseload.
  • Ensure the collection of all client receipts and turning them in to Program Managers.
  • Develop positive relationships between client family and client support team, and assist in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances.
