  • I decided to retire at age 63 on January 15, 2021.
  • I moved to El Paso, TX to live with one of my sisters and be able to live off my Social Security pension of $2,150.00 a month.
  • I lived there for almost two years.
  • Living in El Paso, TX wasn't really for me, so I ended up moving back here to the Phoenix area on November 20, 2022. I currently live in an apartment in Phoenix, AZ, but in order to make ends meet I have to use money from my retirement.
  • From 09/2013 – 12/2014 I was unemployed
  • As for my position at Boeing, I was laid off in September 2013. I didn't look for a job right away and took some time to go to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to work on remodeling my parents' house because it was in very bad condition.
  • During that period, I lived off my 401K from Motorola and Boeing.
