  • Performed imaging quality assurance (QA) on Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators following TG-142 guidelines for both kV and MV imaging systems.
  • Assessed image quality metrics including spatial resolution, contrast, uniformity, and geometric accuracy to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • X-ray equipment quality assurance testing in accordance with NYS regulations, including half-value layer (HVL) determination and mAs linearity verification.

Student

North Shore University hospital
Manhasset, New York
09.2025 - 12.2025
  • Performed Tc-99m dose calibrator quality control in accordance with regulatory standards, including constancy and accuracy checks.
  • Conducted Geiger–Müller detector calibration and verification of radiation survey instruments.
  • Evaluated scintillation detector efficiency, including reproducibility testing and determination of minimum detectable activity (MDA).

Student

Northwell Health Center for Advanced Medicine
New Hyde Park, New York
01.2025 - 05.2025
  • Participated in monthly LINAC QA measurements (output constancy, symmetry, flatness) for Varian TrueBeam and Ethos.
  • Supported IMRT/VMAT patient-specific QA using ion chamber measurements and Gamma analysis.
  • Assisted with radiation shielding design calculations and monitor unit (MU) verification.

Dosimetric Effect of Hypersight CT-Number to Electron-Density Curves on AAA and Acuros Algorithms Calculated Plans
2026
• Evaluated the dosimetric impact of HyperSight CBCT CT-number to electron-density (CT-ED) calibration curves on treatment plans calculated with the AAA and Acuros  algorithms in the Eclipse treatment planning system.

• Performed 3D gamma analysis (VeriSoft) on twenty brain treatment plans to assess dose calculation differences.
• Constructed an in-house CT-ED curve using the Sun Nuclear Advanced Electron Density Phantom on the Varian Halcyon HyperSight system and compared it with the manufacturer-provided calibration curve.
