• Oversee and coordinate all irrigation and plant nutrition-related tasks
• Implement a plant nutrition program for each crop

• Follow all pesticide protocols and regulations according to EPA, OSHA, and Syngenta protocols
• Use chemical application equipment such as backpack pump, Hagie DTS8, and DTS10
• Train, manage, and supervise temporary employees.

Analyze and apply federal regulation on Farm Programs area, Farm Loan area, and Natural Resource Conservation Service

• Use GPS (Global Position System), Garmin, and Arc View program to use on GIS (Geospatial Information System) program to identify farms and make fields sketch on a satellite picture
• Attend to the farmers to solve their farm problems
• Work with a large variety of crops
• Help the farmers fill out the forms for each program so it will be accurate
• Analyze and process applications of payments of different programs like Noninsurance Assistance Programs (NAP) and Crop Disaster Program (CDP).

• Visit farmers from different areas of Puerto Rico to make inspections to verify the crop yields and acreage for insurance approval and perform the inspections after a natural disaster to determine losses for different crops
• Use GPS to determine field location and field acreage
• Develop the farm sketch to identify the fields on it
• Experience in filling and understanding the Crops Insurance Corporation (CSA) forms and documents.
