I have been working for the Metropolitan Transit System Contract since 2018, starting when it was managed by Allied Universal Security. Over the years, I have developed strong skills in public interaction, situational adaptability, and a solid understanding of California laws relevant to transit security. I’ve dedicated myself to continuous learning and self-improvement in order to become a more effective officer and to help create a safer, more welcoming environment on the trolleys, buses, and other transit areas where I’m assigned. Throughout my time in this role, I’ve had the privilege of working with many experienced mentors, as well as members of Homeland Security who have provided valuable education and training. I have also collaborated with local law enforcement and have appeared in court when subpoenaed, further expanding my understanding of the legal system. Currently, I serve as a Transport Supervisor on the security side, where I focus on ensuring the safety and professional development of the officers under my supervision. I am committed to helping them make the right decisions, continue learning, and uphold the standards necessary to ensure that every passenger who uses the transit system feels safe and respected.
