A Native of Philadelphia, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance from Temple University. My love for dance started , at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington D.C. I found and expanded my captivation in vivid dance movements and rhythms of African and Hip Hop. I briefly participated in a renowned African American Deaf Dance Company (Wildzappers) and KanKouran West African Dance Company based in Washington DC.
I then expanded my dance training in Modern and Ballet dance technique and took my passion in dance to train further movements at the Temple University Dance Program. Also I trained in several dance schools such as Kariamu Welsh African Dance Technique (Umfundalai), Philadelphia Dance School (Philadanco), Ione Nash African Dance Ensemble, University of the Arts, and Koresh Studio. Later when I moved to New York, I have done collaborations and performed with small companies and productions such as Sakshi Productions by Nandini Sikand, Heidi Dance Latsky and more.
Other than dance, among my credits in an acting career, I had opportunities in TV/Film as an extra in Law & Order and Blue Bloods. I had roles in multiple awarded winning independent films, 'The Shattered Mind' as Imani and 'Paralax' as Melanie Bardo, both Deaf roles. Also she acted in, 'SOFIE', directed by award winning director Ella Jane. In Theater, ‘Almost Maine’, a Deaf role and award winning play, 'FETES DE LA NUIT' and an understudy in, 'FOR COLORED GIRLS'
