  • Responsible for maintaining revenue while transitioning under new owner.
  • Nature Planet Ltd in Denmark acquired two companies: Wishpets (Oregon) and Wild Life Artists (Connecticut). For majority of first year, responsible for continuing to run Wishpets as previous years, while serving on committees to decide on how to consolidate warehouse and to combine three companies into one US operating system. Oregon office went from NetSuite to Business Central.
  • Monitored Wishpets inventory and placed Purchase orders with factories while managing Product Development group, and running warehouse (container receipt & shipping). Made more challenging since 2022 had so many container logistics issues.
  • In mid-December through end of January, moved entire Beaverton warehouse to 3PL warehouse in Mississippi - managed team to accurately load 78 truckloads, set up new office and completely emptied old offices and warehouse.
  • In November, started consolidation and training of Order Entry/Customer Service to make one team nationwide.
  • On January 1, 2023, Nature Planet Inc went live with Business Central and new warehouse: led combined order entry and customer service team through many challenges of minimum tested system and completely new remote warehouse. Helped team with troubleshooting challenges and educating sales on changes.
  • Trained 3PL warehouse staff to fulfill value-added services.
  • Continued to make sure max number of orders shipped each day with extra attention to making sure seasonal demands were scheduled successfully.

Wishpets was wholesale seller of Plush toys designed in the US, predominantly for the Souvenir market.

  • Oversaw daily operations across multiple departments (Sales, Order Entry, Customer Service, Shipping and Receiving, Product Development, Purchasing and Accounting) ensuring seamless coordination and efficient execution of tasks.
  • In August 2016, Wishpets sold to new owners, Whitefield Capital. New to this type of business, had to help them understand souvenir market and seasonal needs. Also, guided in hiring appropriate staff.
  • With Sales Director grew company 5-10% each year (except 2020 which still ended positively, but no growth.)
  • With owner migrated operating system from server-based Pointforce to cloud-based NetSuite with many customizations.
  • Shared coordination of Souvenir Trade Shows with Sales Director
  • Continually mentored and coached team members for productivity and engagement providing constructive feedback and guidance for continuous improvement for Customer Service, Order Entry, Warehouse Team and Product Development. Averaged total of 15 employees.
