Sterile compound I.V. Chemotherapy for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion Center. Receive and restock medication and supply stock. Place orders for low stocked supplies. Calculate ordered medication doses and double check final product with registered nurse. Sterile clean biosafety cabinet and monitor room temperature, room pressure and humidity and log in system. Effectively communicate with staff through email or group chats about anything important to do with medications or supplies.

• IV Station Super User, compound IV Admitures, Hazardous Admixtures, Chemotherapy Admixutes, IV syringe batching and unit dose IV syringes for the O.R
• Drug Distribution, Process Medication requisitions
• Outdate expired medications, fill automated dispensing cabinet(pyxis machine)
• Work on monthly assignment area to make sure meds are not expired(Ante room and Clean room) and quarterly project is Sterility and Potency testing for Sterile Compound Areas

• Lab Instructor for the pharmacy technician program
• Present lectures when covering for an instructor
• Offer reviews for the PTCB

• Process prior authorization requests forms submitted through doctor’s office
• Review prior authorization requests, approve or forward to clinical review
• Review requests for Blue Cross pharmacy insurance including Medicare Part D

• Process and fill prescriptions
• Help Spanish speaking customers
• Fill out TAR forms, inventory medications on shelf
