Quality Team Leader
Responsible for managing environmental monitoring and pathogen control, hygienic restoration, potable water testing, and sanitation effectiveness programs. Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues on the production floor while training production staff and lab personnel on quality-related responsibilities. Proficient in using the Kronos system for employee timekeeping. Ensure that all products meet food safety and quality standards before leaving the facility. Collaborate with enterprise microbiology to maintain updated hygienic zoning for the facility. Oversee monthly audits of glass and brittle plastic, and lead a foreign material task force to monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout the plant. Supervise seams inspection to verify cans integrity and hermetic sealing through manual can teardowns. Work closely with maintenance for necessary adjustments and verify that the correct cans and ends are used. Assist with first and second operational checks, and approve incoming materials by confirming compliance with Certificate of Analysis specifications. Assists in SQF audits and updates food safety plans (FSP) and document control.
