Cashier Lead
Under Armour, Inc.
08.2019 - 10.2022
I started as a sales associate. Some of the things I learned to do starting out there includes: push product to customers, customer service, answering questions about our products (how they work, what certain items were made to do certain things, etc...), online ordering, filling the sales floor from the #1 seller all the way through with the correct product location/size integrity for selling the product, maintaining a neat/organized store, cleaning, detail work (size boards, size stickers, accurate signage), explanation of promotions, customer satisfaction, cashiering, and I also trained new associates on how to run the sales floor with efficacy, accuracy, and also how to do so professionally. When I got promoted I became in charge of: the teammates that were at the registers, numbers (cash, return credits, etc...), communicating goals to the rest of the teammates/managers, getting/having enough product like bags and receipt paper to keep the business in a fast flow, fix computer errors, lead/train people on the register, correct numbers, know the promotions on the sales floor to keep watch of product ringing up correctly or not, keeping it clean/safe, calling for cash pulls thoroughly throughout the day to ensure no theft/robbery, and keeping up with the daily expectations of specific numbers i have to meet everyday. I really enjoy learning new things about running a business, and guiding coworkers to be the best they can be. My district manager gave me a shoutout for having “the fastest line in the mall and being the best Cash Wrap Team” She acknowledged me to the rest of our district for the hard work, accuracy, and outstanding numbers that were being produced. I continue to learn and grow with this company as I am willing to grow and apply these accomplishments to another one.

I am in click list, I’m responsible for getting the correct items the customer ordered. I also attend, which is taking the groceries out to the customers vehicles. I run the desk in the back as well which involves organizing which customer gets taken care of first, and to double check the attendant has all of the customers items and to remove unwanted or substitute items. I’ve been sent to the other departments in the store such as, bakery, up front which is cashier and bagging, floral, and produce. In bakery I made cookies, breads, cakes, also packaged them and marked them with labels and prices. Produce I cleaned and stocked fruits and vegetables. Floral I helped people pick flowers and get balloons to match their occasion.

I was in charge of three locations. Two stores and a locker bay. In the stores I ran the cash register, helped customers, cleaned, organized, restocked, folded and did inventory checks. For the lockers I had to help people work them and make sure nothing got stolen or broken into. Explained how to open them and gave recommendations to the guests.
