I am currently an associate at the Cornelia, Georgia Belk department store. I have worked for the Belk company going on seven years now. I started with the Gainesville Georgia location where there I started out as a temporary seasonal higher for the accessories department. I quickly developed a passion for the department as well as the company and was asked to stay on as a full-time employee with Belk. I then assisted in fine jewelry for numerous years and developed a deep passion for fine jewelry and a love for the camaraderie. During that time I received silver status for my Belk rewards credit card achievement for two years in a row. After my time at the fine jewelry counter I was asked to take on a management position as the shoe department lead where I received best of Belk and top three in the store for Email capture and performance. During the time of managing the shoe department I was offered a position to further my career. I was offered a management position as the selling lead for the store in Cornelia Georgia. I did that for a year and received bronze for credit achievement at this location. I I am currently working as fulfillment support and sales associate support. During my time with Belk I have always assisted in the fulfillment process and have a passion for fulfillment as well. I have watched the fulfillment side of the company grow so much, especially after Covid and understand the importance of fulfilling orders in a timely manner, and also the efficiency of packaging orders. My husband and I have bought a home in Palm Coast, Florida, where I have family and my husband was offered a wonderful position with his company and we are planning to move and relocate to Palm Coast, Florida, April 2026 of this year. I have vigorously been watching the website belk careers for the opportunity of a position at the Palm Coast Belk. I would love the opportunity to join the Palm Coast, Belk team.
