Responsible for training dental assistants in skills such as taking impressions, fabricating temporaries, administering nitrous, identifying anatomic structures, and placing sealants.

• Collaborated with 4 team members in order to organize mission trips to Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.
• Recorded and processed all financial transactions while requesting funds and created a budget for the mission trip.
• In charge of advising board members on requirements regarding travel expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payments.

• Communicated and organized events with various dental business speakers while recording notes during each meeting.
• Collaborated with 5 board members to determine and seek out guest speakers and produce flyers to promote events while delegating tasks in order to ensure successful events.
  

• Created and presented interactive workshops on diabetes that integrated the practices of diabetes prevention and management.
• Collaborated with a group of professionals from different disciplines including physical therapy, medicine, and pharmacy in order to develop techniques to motivate students to participate in presentations.

• Traveled to Dentist’s Day on the Hill in Tallahassee to advocate to legislature about the obstacles that the dental profession is facing.
• Wrote a newsletter on the experience and the importance of involvement while reporting the legislative fact of the month to educate peers each month.
• Involved in organizing events with representatives.

• Responsible for club financing, organized fundraising events, and collaborating with fellow board members to ensure the proper distribution of medications and instruments.
