I have resided in the River Valley since 1989. I graduated Muldrow High School in 1993 and I have worked with children and families as a caregiver, preschool teacher, and Child Development Center Director for over two decades starting in1994.
Most recently I have worked for Fort Smith Public Schools in the Child Nutrition Department. I have held this position for 7 years and I have been offered a contract for an eighth year. I have felt a strong urge to go back to working with children and families so I am exploring options in this area before I commit to my eighth year.
I hold an Associates Degree in Child Development and decades of experience in the field. I believe in positive guidance and using all of our resources to support a child's development including the arrangement of our environment and the activities we provide.
